About Me!
Hello,Friends ~
Just a little bit about me!
I am from Pittsfield, Ma. and went to school there all throughout high school! I attended Westfield State University for my undergraduate studies and went on to Elms College to complete my Master's degree.
I have been teaching now for 7 years (wow!) I absolutely love teaching middle school science and also teach a variety of education courses at Elms College. My favorite topics to study are the solar system and genetics!
When it comes to my teaching pedagogy, my favorite thing to do with students is make the abstract, tangible. I enjoy teaching students how astronauts land space crafts (using marshmallows), how roller coasters work (using hot wheels cars), and how convection currents work (using paper and food coloring).
In my free time, I enjoy working with my students at Elms College, waitressing locally, at Hotel on North, spending time reading and with my friends, and most of all snuggling my fur baby, Dola (seen here!).
